Yes. Very good point. The exhaust is so quiet until I don't want it to be which is great.

I drove my friends S the same day he installed it.. The q300 is not loud whatsoever ...it actually has the "perfect tone" IMO. I would definitely pick one up If i didnt already have the J's

I picked up the Q300 used and can't say enough good about it. Deep tone and a pleasure to hear when driving. I decided to wrap it with high temp header wrap as I did that on my TL exhaust and it ensured less rasp and a deeper tone...also put on a JVT header and swapped from Berk TP to a Flowmaster high flow cat and it is aural pleasure.

Thats exactly what i want. Im really excited to get this exhaust in and on my car. I appercaite the help! Definately has made this decision a lot easier. Just excited to actually have some sound to my car. I love the stock exhaust dont get me wrong but its just way too quiet for me at least.

I just put this on the car, have not run it yet as part of an ongoing build. The flange fits perfectly on stock cat, the diameter of pipe is slightly larger. Impressed with the quality of this kit, regardless of what was paid.

Q300 exhaust.
Good:
1. Attractive.
Bad
1. Loud.(well over 105 dBA on a calibrated noise meter).
2. Obnoxious rasp.
3. Drones painfully (between 3000 and 4000 rpm -- cruising speeds)
This system lasted less than a month on my car and that long only because shipping the Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust took over a week to get from CA to OH.
Hear any exhaust from inside the car before buying. Threads like this saying the Q300 isn't that loud is what caused me to waste time and money on this horrible exhaust. Does look good and the stanced Civic guys at the high school loved it. A buddy fitted this same system just after I did and had to wear ear plugs. He pulled his too.

I decided to get the q300 exhaust and the invidia header and test pipe. Funny how some say it's super loud and others say it's quiet. Guess I'll have to find out for myself after the install this weekend. My thoughts will be expressed.
