Default Origin offset bushings and fortune auto

I have the bushings and the fortune auto air lift coilovers. I don't think there is enough room to move the upper control arm inwards 7mm. The arm is already so close to the strut that I think it will hit. It might just barely fit but I don't want to go though the whole pressing out bushings part to find out. Has anyone else installed these bushings along with this suspension? I think with most coilovers the spring collar sits higher cause there isn't an air cup taking up space. If the spring was shorter I don't think I'd be worried.

I bought a used upper arm, installed the bushings on that and test fit it. I think it just barely fits. I drove around a little bit on it and didn't hear any noises. The car still lifts just as high so the arm isn't hitting the collar. The part that is closest to hitting that I can see is the lower locking collar for the bottom cup that attaches to the lower control arm. I'm gonna go ahead and order the left control arm and fit both of them and find out if they really work.

Did you ever sort this out? I have FA500s and was thinking about offset bushings but i had the same thought that the control arm might hit the coilover... hoping it worked out for you

I have them ready to go on. I was waiting close to a year for new ball joints cause I messed up the threads of the other ones. I'm on vac now but once I get back and get my new hood on I'll schedule an alignment and put them on.

I've got them installed and the car had been aligned. I haven't noticed any noises from the front end indicating at contact between the arm or spring perch. I've put a few miles on them and have hit a good amount of bumps here in Massachusetts.

Interesting setup. How're you liking the air lift coilovers? Have you taken em on track yet?

I like them. They act like regular coilovers but I can get over more speed bumps and they make jacking the car up easier. If I did it again I would have just got the front lift option. You have to run a minimum 11k spring in the rear with the kit or it will bottom out. Also, the front and rear kit comes with 2 compressors making it more difficult to fit in the trunk. The kit also only came with one inline fuse but you need 2, 1 for each compressor. The rear seems more like an after thought. I also cut the wires going between the stuff in the trunk and the car and installed some plugs so I could unplug the compressor and tank and remove them. They ship everything bolted to a plate of abs with the wiring attached. They're all blade connectors which will get loose unplugging them multiple times.
