passenger-driver's door mirrors the same?
its definitely different. When viewed from above the driver's side mirror housing is parallel to the car's side. the passenger's side angles in being closer the back end where the mirror is. The mounts seem ok, firmly attached and no sign of damage. With 3 bolts I doubt this has twisted. The mirror body itself seems OK and when twisted will positively and securely click back into its usual position.
The passenger side is angled in closer to the door on all MY's. You can notice it when looking straight at the mirrors from the front of the car. It's normal and most owners don't realize it until told about it.
RHD S2k's are the exact opposite where the left side mirrors (our drivers side) are angled in closer to the door. That is why when you mount JDM Spoon mirrors you will not get good visibility out of either side since they are designed for RHD S2K's.

But at least the replies have confirmed its normal. when I noticed it my fear was there was damage or not fixed correctly. mind suspects things gruesome when you have only had the car a day. at least thats one things not need sorting
cheers
