Default Password JDM S2000 Lightweight battery bracket

Guys any one have the password JDM lightweight battery bracket at all?

I just installed my Fullruver HC20 (same dimensions as the Oddyssey PC680) and noticed my OEM battery tray is quite rusted, so instead of buying OEM, I thought I buy the password.

Wanting to confirm if this replaces the oem tray, or simply bolts on top?

Cheers in advance!

The Password JDM bracket bolts onto the existing battery tray. I ran it for a few years, really nice, solid piece. Got tired of replacing the battery every year, so I went back to the oem battery.

If it is just surface corrosion, sand it down and repaint it.

A lightweight battery bracket? Vacuuming the car will probably save as much weight. Or do you mean a bracket for a lightweight battery?

Battery capacity is directly related to how much lead (weight) is in the battery. I just had a FTS (Failure to Start) event 10 days ago and had to replace the battery. Group 51 as I recall. Anything smaller will have more chance of not starting the car.

It is a bracket specifically for a smaller, lightweight battery. It is designed to hold the Odyssey PC680 and PC680MJ.

Those batteries are fine for race cars where you don't need daily reliability and can bet a jump start as needed.
