performance exhaust...
So ive been iffy about getting an exhaust, looking for the one for me. im leaning for the Invidia Q300, little more in my price range. just curious who knows a little about exhaust. If there is anything better, performance wise around $600-$800. Ive also been looking at APEXI GT single exhaust. would it be better for performance to get a single or dual?
If u looking for performance wise, single 70mm it's ur best bet.
Check out official exhaust thread for more infos.
Greddy n t1r single r both dyno proven to made big gain over all range of rpms..
As for dual, they also made power, but a little less than single,n much heavier.
If u decide to go with single, i have my t1r 70mm v3 single for sale soon..
I paid $1000 shipped from evaisive, n looking to sell $600

the dirty can be clean with some cleaning tools n some things from auto zone or pepboyz.
i will do the clean, when i am ready to sell.
anything 3 inch will be better for performance with exhausts for the s2000..... the problem would be getting a 3 in test pipe to go with it, which i think some places do make them.. (ark performance, berk, etc)
for example, the hks 75 single is priced right smack in the middle of your listed price range according to evasive's website...
just a thought. =)

do you have HKS 75mm single? i looked up price and right in my budget! hows the drone and sound? worth the penny?
I just got the berk 3 inch and I really like it. It doesn't drone bad (I do have a plm header so not sure if that helps cut down on drone) and it only cost $465 shipped. I am very happy with the berk products I have owned. I had their test pipe and their dual exhaust before and now their single.
If you are looking at the q300 make sure you hear it with a test pipe. It is much louder with the TP and it doesn't sound very good.

but to answer your question... no, i don't have the hks 75mm... i've only heard it in person from the outside of the car right when it was launched onto the market at a s2k meet in torrance. some guys from evasive had it on their s2000 (i believe it was the light blue one with the spoon front end, anyways.) and when they were getting out of the parking lot in a sane manner, it was rather quiet. BUT, you never know how loud an exhaust really is until you drive it.
i don't know what is your noise tolerance level... but the berk 3 inch header back is too loud for my ears. depending on your tolerance level, it might be ok for you. i remember there's a dyno thread a while back showing 3 inch makes more power given the right tune + test pipe.
i hope you have someone in your area who has the exhaust and can show you how it sounds before you make the purchase.
