Why do you want Porsche brakes on your car? There are plenty of quality brake kits out there for the S2000 from Spoon, Willwood, Stoptech etc.

Yup Yup.....

I can get a set of Big Yellows for about 1/2 the price of a Brembo Kit.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this is something that hasn't been attempted before.

But, It does sound like a very interesting possibility.

I'd go with the Six piston Brembo's that come on the new Chyeane.

Porsche makes great brake systems. Porsche is very well known for their brakes. I'd rather have some that Porsche has made than a set of stop techs or brembos. And you can always find Porsche brakes for very low prices.

Just so were clear here....if money is no object, Porsche makes better brakes than Brembo, Stoptech, and Wilwood. They are just insanely expensive and dont fit almost any car. You will rarely see a porsche owner swap brakes, unless its for better porsche brakes. PCCB brakes are like 11 grand!

I have a 97 C4S and recently sold my 01 S2000 - I would say that though the S2000 brakes were good, the C4S has the best brakes I have ever experienced (the "Big Reds"). They are expensive, as is everything with that P-name on it, but if you can swing a deal and they fit, go for it.

Have no idea how they compare to Stoptech or Wilwood - at least on the S2000. I also drive a freind's SPF Mk III (a 485 HP Cobra replica) at VIR on occasion, and it has Wilwoods on it. They are not the biggest/best ones, bu they are good brakes, for sure. At the end of a long day at the track with multiple drivers in teh same car, they fade some, but they certainly handle pretty significant abuse from some novice drivers.
