I think there are some aftermarket lug nuts that can't be used on certain oem wheels, but these have the tapered end just like my stock lugs. I asked and made sure they're compatible before I made the purchase. They fit perfectly.

Corrections....the seller has lied to me. Now that I'm going through numerous threads regarding aftermarket lugs and oem wheels. I carefully checked the lugs I bought against the oem and they are different. Aftermarket lugs are tapered and flat. Oem lugs have a bit of an arc on the taper not much, but you can definitely tell. I can see why this is a big issue with safety. Crap...I'm going to call them Monday and chew them out for lying to me. Why in the hell would a reputable shop tell me that I can use it on oem rims and or any honda oem wheels? I'm pissed now....they better refund my money.
Well, that sucks they told you a lie just to sell some lugs, but it's better that you know that now I guess. I'm not looking at your original post, did you say where you bought them from? BTW the setup looks proper!

Yeah...that totally blows. I spent $250 on this set of Project Kics R40 Racing Lug Nuts and now they are pretty much worthless to me. I didn't mention any shop names or the name of the person who lied to me over the phone while taking my order. I will call them and see if they are willing to work something out with me. If they are asses I definitely will tell everyone who they are and never to do business with them ever again.

Yeap...$250 pieces of trash. Take a look the the broken one. The tapering ring that moves freely just came off. The only area that seated on the rim was the tip, maybe 1/16" of it. I'm glad I read into this more or else I would have been the person on the side of the road. I've had them on for 3 day and rode on them once. I took them off today and put my chrome oems back on. This was a big mistake buying aftermarket lugs for oem wheels. I know the majority of you are aware of this, so I guess I was the dumb one for not researching before buying and for believing a lie from a seller who I thought was being honest.

arent the stock lugnuts acorn/spherical shaped, not tapered?

nvmd sorry i didnt read the bottom half of your post

closest thing to aftermarket looking lugnuts are the ones off the CR. i have them and they look pretty decent on stock wheels.
