KW makes a much better coil over IMHO. Much more versatile, but overkill for a daily driven setup.

Well, the overall usability of the setup needs to be looked at. If you are going to track the car, and really get into fine tuning the full suspension, then pay the extra for the KW.

If you want a great setup for your daily ride, that is still quality, get the Pss9's. Sure you do not have a broad range as the KW's, but they do offer a lot.

Both setups are quality, so get that out of your mind. It's about the features, and how much you will really use them.

I have the Pss9, and they offer what I need. The occasional autoX, and maybe a day or two at the track.

my_slow_civic could u give me a comparison between the pss9 and stock ap2 suspension? As far as ride and handling? I notice sometimes the stock suspension gets thrown off by bumps in the road easily.

OK everyone i decided on the pss9. If i ever become a track whore then I'll upgrade. For now I think the pss9 will suite my needs.

Thanks everyone for your help. I greatly appreciate it.

I am probably not the best at writing out a comparison. The stock front end felt like it had some float to it. Picture a Cadillac taking the corners. That's how I would describe it. My wife who really hates bouncy rides, has no problem with the Pss9's. She even commented on how it drives better. But, she really doesn't know much on the subject.

Taking the corners up the canyon, I do not have to push the car as hard as the stock s2ks. The seem to be working harder to keep up, as the turns are made slower.

I think you will be pretty happy with your purchase.

Keep in mind that if you feel the need to "upgrade" to a stiffer, more track oriented setup; you may not have to switch over to completely new coilovers. You can swap the Bilstein springs out for stiffer ones (Swift makes custom coilover springs at the spring rate of your choosing). Contact Bilstein to find out how high of a spring rate the valving can handle.

There's someone on here that has already swapped out the springs on his PSS9's. I'll do a quick search and if I can find the thread I'll link it here.

Ordered from shox.com thanks for the help again everyone.

Oh also if anyone can help. What part of the stock hats do I need. Looked on a part catalog and there are quite a few parts that go a long with the hat. Is it just the hat i will need. Or do i need the other parts.
