Default PSS9 Owners...Looking for some input.

I've just recently bought PSS9s, and am going to install them sometime in the next few weeks. What I'd like to know is...

1)What setting would be equal to, or a little firmer than stock? Due to my system in the trunk, it would be a huge PITA for me to play around with the settings, so I'd just like to set them, and forget them (if I can help it.)

2)I don't want to drop the car too much, maybe 1" at the MOST. Are the shocks lower than stock at the highest setting (factory drop) or do I need to adjust them?

3)If I want the stock handling feel, are the fronts and rears supposed to be set to the same setting, or is one softer, and one firmer? I like a more balanced neutral car.

I usually have mine on 4 all around and it's a big improvement in feeling neutral through the canyons. Make sure to re check the height after the springs have settled

I set my height with front slighty higher than rear and regarding damper adjustment I set mine at 4 front and 6 rear.

Are stock shocks equally dampened, or are the rears stiffer than the front? Front what I understand, having a stiffer rear will make the car prone to oversteer....which I'd rather have instead of understeer....although neutral would be best.

I was also told that springs don't "settle" on coilovers.

i have the rear set 2 settings softer, feels very neutral. When i first got them, I had all them set at 6 for awhile, and found the rear to be a little bouncy

The max they go to is 8 I believe right? So 6 in the front and 4 in the back should be ideal you think? I was thinking 4 and 4, but I don't think the car is supposed to have equal dampening front and rear.

for daily driving i have the rears set to 9 (softest) and the fronts at 8. this gives stock-like comfort and neutral handling. it is definitely a little firmer than stock but is actually more comfortable over small bumps and irregularities in the road. its slightly harsher on bigger bumps than stock but never uncomfortable. handling is much improved over stock though. you'll feel much more planted.
