Default Pulstar Plugs

Hello s2ki.com. I ordered a set of pulstar plugs for my ap1 and installed it today. I was a little nervous at first since all I mostly heard that these plugs can cause some serious problems and even a blown motor. Well, I took the plunge and installed them. And so far so good.

I let it idle for a couple of minutes just so the ecu can get used to the new plugs and also so I can find out if there was any misfires or anything like that. Runs fine so afterwards, I drove it around town and did some quick take offs and high speed fly by's on the highway. It pulls just the same but with a little more pep at the top of the rpm band. And there was no misfire at all or any ill effect to the engine sound.

Now I can't automatically assume that these plugs will give you increased hp to the wheels because I don't have a dyno shop that's opened right now and neither do I feel like pulling $75 out of my own pocket just to do 3 runs.

I mainly got these plugs just to give it a try and to see if the "rumors" were true. My best guess is, those people installed the plugs incorrectly or got the wrong set for their FI set up. I don't know... But it hasn't given me any problems so far and I easily put about 80 miles already. If they were bad, I belive they would've done something bad to my engine by now.

So if your looking into buying a new set of plugs because you simply want to try these out or if your plugs are getting high up there in the miles department, then don't be afraid to try these out.

PS. Sorry for not taking any pics of the pulstar plugs. I got too lazy to do a "full" review. My bad.

Let me see if I understand this--you paid $75 for a set of sparkpugs to see if they would blow up your engine?
