KaJe209,

What do you dislike about your AEM?

i honestly just dont like how it looks in the engine bay. plus being metal, its going to soak up warm air as the CF intake box wont
No. No it's not. Not enough to even worry about. Why do you think the CF box will not soak up heat as well?

because CF is not a good heat conductor as metal/aluminum is

i prob wont go boost since i dont believe in boosting any honda motor, unless it came like that from factory

Yup... Carbon Fiber is a moderate to poor conductor of heat, and does not approach metal as a conductor of heat. There are intake plenums being made out of carbon Fiber with proven drops in intake temps due to the lower conductivity of the composite.

i won't tell you how to spend your money, but if you need to take a bank loan out on an ap1(8-12k),
you obviously have no savings... so.. why are you buying a 1400$ intake hehe..

shrug your money, make it work for you rather than the other way around.

As far as the intake, it's a joke.. most people make fun of it, and they keep having problems at passwrd with people
calling about it cracking.

PRM, ct-en, aem, it's just a pipe and filter man, if you like wasting money gears will do 10x
