Question about aftermarket seats.
Im looking to get some inexpensive aftermarket seats. I was looking at either the Sparco Sprint or the F1 SPEC Type 5 carbon fiber. Both are priced next to each other. Any feedback as to the quality of these seats???

I do not have any experience with those, however i had replica bride seats and they made the driving experience a lot better. i had wedge engineering seat brackets to mount them. made them sit a lot lower than oem seats and i kind of regret selling them.
however on hard turns (uturns mostly) the seats squeak because they are fiberglass rubbing on metal. i was going to put a greased rubber washer/spacer in between the mounts to fix this but ended up trading them away.
i never got into an accident with them, and i only used stock seat belts so that's all the input i have.

If your looking at sparco sprint V then I can give you my opinion on that. I like it and it fits into the s2k cabin. I bought it as a passenger seat as Drivers was a custom made to my size here in UK.
For the price it's a very good bargain plus it's FIA approved.
