Default Racing Seats

Does anyone have experience with Netami Renegade Racing Seats? What are your thoughts on fit and comfort?

I'm open to any racing seat at the moment as well. All I am looking for is a black and yellow racing seat for my yellow ap1 s2000. I am very tall at about 6'5" and I am looking for seats that will allow me to sit lower in my car.

I was looking at high end racing seats but I don't want to spend that much money on them. Are there any decent/good seats that I can buy that will give me my goals of sitting lower and keep me secure while doing small SCCA events?

If I can't find seats for a decent price I will just buy the Backyard Special Low Mount Seat rail to lower my stock seats.

Not sure what my price range will be but I know I don't want to spend $700 per seat for the Sparco seats. Perhaps I will buy a used set when the time comes.

Thanks for your input.

Here is a link to the seats.

the sparco sprint with the appropriate low rail would only run you maybe $500 or less and is a good intro seat, but a bucket.

I was at Sparco's site and I saw some rather nice seats that were for a fair price. The problem is they didn't come in yellow. I wonder how much it would cost to have someone make part of them yellow.

What do you mean

Black?

I guess if I really had to I could get black but then they would look boring in my car. I was looking for something to bring the yellow out in it more. The interior is pretty but it lacks contrast.

the yellow probably wont match, then youd be bum'd out. Get some quality seats, they'll be more comforable, look nicer, and last longer. If you really wanna do something cool, get some S2000 CR seats (Which bring a yellow insert), and get really low seat rails. Search "Low Seat Rails", Im sure various options will come up.

That is kinda cool. Yellow doesn't match very well though. I wonder how much they cost.

You make a good point Legendary. I assume used CR seats won't be on the market for while.
