Default Racing steering wheel install with FIXED hub

Hello,

I currently have a momo wheel in my track car with a checkered sports hub.

This hub does not allow me to use a clockspring and/or horn/CC wiring.

I find this unacceptable.

I would like to install a NON quick release hub and use the factory clock spring.

All the online how-to's were either filmed while the person was on drugs...or are done using QR setups.

I am also not as smart as I look.

Can someone please walk me thru what hub/parts I need?

Thank you!!

Ok!

So it looks like I need to find a SRS friendly hub.

Like NRG SRK-131H or the one from Circuit Hero.

They're pricey...and I'm trying (failing) to keep the car low budget. So...we shall see.

MOMO, ASM, Worksbell/Spoon, retain those things.

I wouldn't cheap out on a hub. Just a friendly PSA.

I have the NRG you linked but use it with a NRG quick release. I pulled my cruise control wiring out the bottom of the hub so I could plug the OEM control in when needed.

Have you tried your intended setup? I am unable to get in or out of my car without a QR.

Buy mine, neighbor.

13" OMP steering wheel, HKB boss and modified clock spring.

The extra leather cover to assist the arthritis in my hands can be removed in less than a minute.

My body type is like Crispin Glover. So thin that its creepy.

Imagine me as a peice of paper blowing in the wind through a window.

My current setup is the aforementioned checkered sports fixed hub and steering wheel. No issues with ingress/egress.

Anyone know if the WB rapfix (not the short version) can house the clock spring?
