Do you guys know how to remove the rear view mirror? I tried to get it off, but couldn't. I tried to find a DIY guide out there, to no avail. I'm installing a new mirror with a backup camera. I'll let you guys know how well it works...

 

Just loosen the screw that is incorporated into the spine, remove the plastic cover that covers the base, and the mounted portion then slides off the base. Don't touch the base that is affixed/glued to the glass as it could crack the glass if you try to remove it.
