Default remap- help please?

I'm looking at begining to purchase some aftermarket parts for my S2000 and was wondering if the car would then need a remap to get the full benefits of the new tuning parts? The car already has a K&N typhoon induction kit, and I'm now looking at fitting a 70mm alpha skunk2 racing throttle body and skunk2 racing megapower manifold and exhaust. Any help will be much appreciated! This is my first time properly modifying a car and so my mechanical knowledge is very limited

What year is your S? That will drastically effect your options for tuning. The Throttle body is a waste of money. Finally Skunk 2 is far from the best parts I strongly suggest you spend some time reading these threads and other peoples experience.

Intake You made a good choice here with the K&N

Exhaust

Granted there are a number of choices that are not in those threads but if you search and read you will find info on them.

Ok so you are in the same boat I am. 2000-2005 have very limited options for tuning. You basically have Greddy Emanage which is a piggy back tuner and can handle an NA tune if you have someone local that can tune it for you. It is hands down the most affordable option for you. The other option is a totally different engine management like AEM, Kpro, or Haltech. These are much more expensive but if you ever go boost or beyond just bolt ons you will want these.

Where you are currently I wouldn't worry about it yet. Once you have your other parts picked out and dicide on a direction you can look more into tuning. You need to look into what the tuners in your area support as any tuning option that you cannot have tuned is wasted money.
