Just wondering if anyone has ever had to replaced the filter on a mugen/mugen style intake. Apparently the end of mine broke (thankfully while cleaning it) and I need to replace it. Any suggestions on what replacement filter might fit?

The car is in the body shop right now so I don't have access to the filter or I would just pull it out and try to match it up with another one. Thanks.

 

Id get the measurements and get an AFE, its what I use and it retains relatively low Si levels on the UOAs.

 

i know gotuning carries the replacement filters. not sure if aFe sells a similar style filter, but does not hurt to ask.

Figured I'd bump this up after some research I did...

Tried a K&N that almost fit, but no-go. I then contacted AFE, and after a while on the phone(already placed the order), the guy got back to me saying they couldn't sell me the filter. Had something to do with a private contract they have with Mugen. Which sucks, cause it was only going to be about $70.

So, bit the bullet, and ordered the Mugen(AFE) filter from Kingmotorsports.
