Default S2000 ap2 2005 seats

So I have extreme wear on my side bolster on my driver's seat. There's also a small cut on the other bolster of the seat.
I just bought a passenger side seat and is it possible to scrap the leather from that seat and replace the parts of the driver's seat?

Maybe? You'd have to take both apart and sew in the piece from the other seat. I would go to an upholstery shop and see what they say.

I know the seat bases can be swapped. I agine the seat backs could be too.

The bases you can swap the whole base itself, no need to remove the leather. Note the bases aren't identical, there is extra reinforcement in the outer base bolster. But they will swap.

Not sure if you could do the same with the backs.

The backs have the seat belt guide so you would be left with holes and indents in the leather, not entirely sure if you could use the frame with padding and swap the leather either as the belt guide holes may not be there. Great question and interested in the answer.

Yeah, been snooping through the forums to find the answer to this.
