So I installed an aux adapter to my 2005 s. It's a 14 pin connector and I took out the already existing 14 pin white connector and put the aux one in.
After that, I noticed that my green imoblizer icon would not pop up or make the sound when I put the key in. Also, the CEL would not disappear after a few seconds which it should when I have the key turned all the way to the right.
So I am trying to figure out what I did wrong and it seems like no one has encounter this type of problem in the forums.

So I need some guidance. All and any help would be greatly appreciated. Just got into the s2k game, purchased a 2005 silverstone w 42k miles just last month. So my ears are always open to suggestions and advices.
