Default S2000 remapping

Hello there Newbie to these forums!

Now i have a Dilemma my dad (who owns the car) is looking to get his 2004 s2000 Mapped

I have searched the web and allot of places don't seem to take the s2000 in. Now is there a problem ECU wise with the Mapping?

I have a Citroen c2 And there is a block on the Ecu meaning you cant map it.

If you could either give me abit more info on this and maybe some links to companies that can map the car

Thank you.

Craig

Only the MY06+ cars can have the ecu flashed with new maps. Hondata provides the re-flashed ECUs.

MY00-05 must use a different ECU or a piggy-back to change the air-fuel-ratio (AFR) or timing. Options are AEM EMS, Motec, and Hondata for a new ECU...they are all expensive and require expensive tuning.

VAFC, and Greddy eManage Ultimate are piggy back systems that modify the signal in (VAFC) or signal out (Greddy). The VAFC only changes AFR. The Greddy changes AFR and timing. Tuning is somewhat less expensive when compared to the stand-alone ECU options.
