Default Apexi afc neo question

I have been looking into some mild tuning options and my tuner recommended looking into the apexi afc neo or if I can get my hands on a greddy emanage ultimate to go for that. So based on that I have been trying to learn as much as possible. Being that I am a complete newb to the tuning thing I have been reading that with both units the ecu fights them, and if I am deducing correctly, it will eventually negate the tune. Is this correct? I have an 05 s2000 and so if I am going to lose my tune over time I may look into a different option, but if I won't lose my tune then I will probably just go with the afc neo or greddy for a conservative tune and call it good. So if anyone can help me understand or point me in a direction of where I can read to understand the whole battle between the piggyback and the ecu, I would really appreciate it.

You need to do some reading, but incorrect the ECU only learns in partial throttle not WOT, LTFT/STFT are un affected in WOT if using a piggyback.

ok, i see. I had a feeling i wasn't understanding correctly. Reason being that I am looking at a piggyback instead of a standalone ecu is so i can stay in the class i want to be in for racing at the track. Thank for that. I really appreciate the answer.

There a few of us who use GEMU on here, I'm one of them.
