Default s2000 seats..

I've searched forever on how to lower the s2000 seats. 95% of the time people are talking about BYS rails and how they lower the seat around an inch or so. I seriously need my seat lowered as im 6'1. Is there anything better than a BYS rail? like maybe upgraded bucket seats that come with lower rails?? I'm really getting frustrated about this whole situation and I love my s2000 and I would purchase anything to get that seat as low as it can possibly go. Please help!! thanks guys!!!!!

At 6'1" I'm not sure why you really need it lowered? Maybe try adjusting your seating position first?

I'm nearly 6' and have no issues, most people that have problems are at least 6'4".

There are a few threads regarding removing seat material (foam) from the bottom portion of the seat coupled with the aftermarket rails.

You cam make custom brackets to lower your stock seats. I'm 6,1 as well, curious as to why you "seriously" need it lowered lol.

I'm 6'3" and it sucks I have to duck a good 4" to see most traffic signals, and its like 95% of the time. I have learned to rely on the signal that is lower and off to the corner, but only about half of them have this. Looking into to lowering my seat soon. After almost two years of ducking i would like this problem fixed. I've always thought that you don't seem to sit in the S2000, more like sit on. Also It seem like I'm looking down at the road, and gauge cluster too. I suspect Honda based the design of the cock pit on a 5' man.

I'm 5'10" and would love the stock seat lowered - I'm all torso. I have a Recaro SPG for track only use and love the lowered position; not just for lights either. There's a new company making new brackets for the stock seat that lower 2-3"

i'm 6' and i had to have it lowered because the rear view mirror obstructs a good portion of what i'm looking at, like, pedestrians... can't see them at all... not interested in running into humans with my car for 500 pts each in real life.
