shaved valve cover?

Default shaved valve cover?

was wondering what people use to shave the lettering off of the spark plug cover, planning on having the VC and spark plug cover powdercoated and need to prep it first

I sanded it off on mine with a belt sander and then powder coated it wrinkle black.

i was planning on just using the oem one, i dont like any of the aftermarket metal ones, and i dont want carbon fiber/kevlar

Grinder or something like that. A machine shop should be able to make some fast works of that also.
