So, i noticed that my shiftknob is position sideways/upside down and i realized that I'm missing a locking nut for it. Now I want to get a nut but i don't know what size nut to get? do i have to buy a new one at dealer or can i just run to home depot and get one?

 

The dealer one is pretty but home depot will have one. Might I suggest blue loctite instead? It will make the knob sit 3/4" lower than if it had a nut.
