Trust me dude, that makes me completely nervous.. which is why I opted not to do it. Instead, I just drilled on the bottom for the lower side strakes. We'll see how well that works.

they come loose all the time, esp when it's applied down there which get sh-t splashed on and water drips on every time it rains
