yes get the hardtop and just use some black epoxy or something and just patch your softtop, nobody will every notice, mine is patched and i want a hardtop soooo bad

Just reinforce the bars with extra fabric so they don't pull/scratch/tear again. Hardtop, Softtop, Notop, theft is always an option. I wouldn't really even worry about that. The HT is stealable anyways

I've been a soft top guy for YEARS. But just recently ordered an OEM hardtop. I'm extremely excited to see it on the car. There's a huge part of me thinking that it'll never come off(I really do prefer the looks of a hardtop).

Does the HT really take 10 seconds to remove? I thought I heard it was a bit of a PITA.... . Doesn't it have like 6 bolts?

I am kind of thinking HT is best of both worlds....since winter is coming it would be ideal. But I am trying to save to get this damn turbo put on finally. FFS so many things to do to this car, so little time.
