HT definitely isn't a security feature. Windows are easily smashed and the HT easily comes off unless you take steps to secure it.

Safer than having a piece of cloth.

Glass makes noise when smashed, if a thief wants a quick and quiet steal, they'll skip the hardtop'd S2000

. Plus, I don't live in the ghetto or park my car in shady areas anyway. It is always in the back of my head.

BTW, still havn't bought a new ST or a HT. Still on the fence. Someone said that my ST will last longer if I had the HT, because it will be pulled down and away from the outside, etc. That has been in the back of my mind since someone mentioned it. That is why I havn't pulled the trigger on a purchase yet . It makes sense to get the HT because when I get a new ST down the road, it will last longer from the HT being on. But a ST costs less

I am trying to find a reputable place to buy a soft top from. Hard top guy has bad reviews on the soft top so I am sketchy at buying from him. Anyone know any good places?

This is where I'm at

HT looks so much better, and personally, I drive top up all the time anyway! Can't wait to get a HT... Thinking Mugen Replica or wait til a nice Amuse FRP comes out...

When my soft top got holes in it, I just repaired them and kept on driving... Use Aquaseal adhesive from Amazon to apply a patch made from a section of top material from Majestic Honda and you're good to go. Maybe $20 in materials...
