Is there any pics of how the SS mugen and the CR wing are mounted?
How they're mounted? As in installing them, or how they sit on the trunk lid?

I've installed both, and they're both extremely easy. The Mugen SS wing uses one hole on each side of the trunk lid. The same holes that are used to mount the OEM lip spoiler. The holes are already visible on the underside from the factory, you just have to drill them out. As for the CR wing, I strongly recommend getting the OEM CR trunk lid with it. Makes install VERY easy... no lining things up, drilling, etc. Just have to get it painted. And the CR trunk lid has a bunch of extra stuff installed on it that the base model doesn't (bracing, studs for the side-support brackets, etc.). You can Google image my screen name, and a bunch of pics should come up of my old SS wing and the most recent CR wing I installed earlier this year.
Basically how they sit in the trunk but you already covered that and thanks a lot for the installation info. Speaking of painting, you mentioned the CR wing needing to be painted? I thought they would be since they are from the CR model S2000s. Also, do they sell SS mugens painted anywhere?

The CR was only offered in Berlina Black, Grand Prix White, Apex Blue Pearl, and Rio Yellow Pearl. So when you order one, those will be the only colors avialable. If you do end up getting the OEM CR trunk lid, that will also need paint. It comes in a primered black finish from Honda.

The SS wing comes from Mugen "almost" ready for paint. It's just a bare fiberglass, but just needs some priming, good sanding, and paint. I recently purchased the last Mugen SS wing that Kingmotorsports had, but they can be ordered.

04+ OEM spoiler. Found it on craigslist for 150. Really changes the cars all over attitude/look if ya know what I mean.

Heres my APR GTC200 with risers.. I leave the wing on since I don't DD my car anymore. It doesn't draw that much attention, I just get the wtf looks maybe once a month or so If I take it out on a Saturday morning lol. Paid only $700 for this one used with the risers.. Not sure how much they go for new, I would imagine the $900 range?

Also if you plan on getting a CR wing do it right and brace your trunk. Whether you track the car or not the wing will do its job and force your trunk down and without the stopper pieces and the bracing your rear bumper will get pushed down in the process. With my wing I didn't need any bracing because it mounts to the edges of the trunk where the stronger points are. CR mounts more in the middle..

You'll still need to brace it, since the wing will buckle the trunk lid.

I've yet to buckle it after my last trackday. I haven't read anywhere of this happening with this wing, Are you sure? It's not aggressive as as say the Voltex, or J's Type 1.
