Spoon Calipers + FI?
Stock brakes with Carbotech XP10/XP8 pads have NO problem repeatedly slowing my car down from 125mph+ to 45mph (T1), 100mph+ to 35mph+ (T5) and 110mph+ to 85mph (T10) at threshold while at Summit Point for up to 25 minutes at a time. What exactly are you planning on doing on the street?
Thanks for the info guys Imma check these pads out probally order them this weekend .
The car is pretty much just for my enjoyment Im not going to say its for street racing but you can say I have a heavy foot at times. so I do step on it. I would to take it to the track (1/4 mile) but im waiting on my linepro rear diff kit .So an all around brake set up is what I want to go with.

XP10 & XP8's will not be suitable for street driving as they need significant heat before they reach their peak efficiency. You'll need a pad that will work well at low as well as high temps. I'd look into some of carbotechs "entry level" pads. They will do you just fine.

Take home message: stock brake setup should be fine even for boosted cars on the street. Bobcats might change initial bite but probably will not do much for temp related fade. Panther+ would be better for an aggressively driven street car but of you need more pads than that on the STREET you are going to kill someone.
XP8 (even XP10s) work fine on the street and I have had no problem (either with cold bite or a accelerated rotor wear) on a street driven track car. Carbotechs are way more street friendly than hawks for example.

and thanks for pointing that out grammar nazi.
most BBK have more brake torque and much higher thermal capacity.
more brake torque might or might not translate to shorter distance however, sometime you don't really stop shorter with a mega buck BBK if the added brake tq upset the brake balance(which is most important thing)
BBK however often alot more thermal capacity, which translate to cooler brake on the track under heavy and repeating use. Their temp tense to be more stable and alot more resistance to fading. but again, it's render pretty much useless on the street for most people.

Agree to disagree
Rotor wear is not a significant issue, but the cold bite of the XP10's is a reflection of their intended use... they are a track pad and when cold, inferior to even the stock pads; no to mention increased dusting and noise. I see your point, but just to avoid confusion... to the OP: XP8/XP10's are not an appropriate pad for strictly street usage. -Aaron

So:
1) OEM setup would be fine for the OP.
2) Bobcats or Panther+ might feel better (and actually dust less than the OEM AP2 front pads)
3) XP10/8 are a good track pad that don't work all that bad on the street (when driving home from track) but no one in their right mind would run these on a 100% street car. They also have way to much initial bite (when completely warmed up) for street tires.
