Agree to disagree to disagree? I agree that XP10/8s are not ideal for the street (really for a street car what do you gain over a Panther+ for example?) and I would not recommend them for the street. I just have been amazed at how well they work on the street (given that they work so well on the track).
So:
1) OEM setup would be fine for the OP.
2) Bobcats or Panther+ might feel better (and actually dust less than the OEM AP2 front pads)
3) XP10/8 are a good track pad that don't work all that bad on the street (when driving home from track) but no one in their right mind would run these on a 100% street car. They also have way to much initial bite (when completely warmed up) for street tires.
