Go authentic legit. Nothing feels better than real genuine parts, I finally saved up enough to get my VOLK CE28s, they are worth every penny! Go legit, just save up enough for a real Spoon part.

In my opinion stick with authentic. Why give your money to the people making counterfeit parts? Why not support the shops that actually put in the work to design, create, test, redesign and recreate the parts? That being said the quality of the authentic bumper is OK. Keep in mind it is FRP and that each part is handmade which results in variances from one bumper to another. My experience with my authentic bumper is that fitment is great, but the tabs are weak (reinforced with carbon fiber that was chemically bonded to the bumper), too much resin, not enough fiber near the edges. FRP also devours paint, this is likely an issue that will be noticeable regardless of authentic or counterfeit parts. Whichever bumper you decide to purchase, make sure you go to someone that takes pride in their work when it comes to installation and paint. It will require a skilled hand to make that bumper come out perfect. Even if the counterfeit bumper fits better or has better resin to fiber ratios, I'll gladly hand my money to the guys that put in so much effort to develop the product from scratch.
