Spoon sports/saftey 21 roll bar
Hi all. I'm looking into buying a roll bar and have spent a fair amount of time reading over the previous posts on the subject. I've basically narrowed it down to the spoon/safety 21 4 point roll bar.
However I have one remaining question that I need answered because I'm 6'3 and the S2000 is already a bit of a tight fit. In a lot of the pictures it seems like the seats can't be put in the farthest back position. I would be keeping the stock seats and I don't know if people are just bringing them forward for the picture so you can see the bar or they just can't go all the way back. (Sorry for the noob question but hey, I'm a noob)
Basically if it turns out that the seat can't go all the way back I can't do it. If anyone has one of these bars and has an answer to my question I'd really appreciate it.

pretty sure with any of the roll cages you lose about an inch to an inch and a half of room. the center hoop anchors right behind the seat which does not allow you to slide or tilt the seat all the way back

The Safety21 bar is far less invasive than the HD installation. I've had 3 bars: the Safety21 4pt with harness bar, the GFL/HD removable everything bar, and now a completely welded/lowered harness bar HD bar.
You will lose more travel with the Safety21 bar than an HD bar because the Safety21 bolts to the floor and not the rear shelf. PM WhrDLMI(Jeff). He's 6'3" or 6'4" and has the Safety21 bar installed. I'm sure he'll be more than happy to give you his first-hand experience with the bar.

Thanks a lot, I'll check out the hard dog roll bar. I had completely forgotten about it. They look damn good, too. I'll contact WhrDLMI about the safety 21 and see what he says.
Thanks everyone

I'm in the same situation as the OP, and was not only wondering about the loss of legroom, but also the fact that most of the bars I've seen do not appear to be much higher than the stock "bars" and my head is well above them. In the event that I actually needed the bar, I'd rather not have my head be the first point of contact.
