Awesome. Don't know if I could pull this off every day, but props to you for trying.
It actually doesn't bother me at all. I mean I do miss going top down on a nice night but aside from that i was usually top up. Before I put the top on I almost never used my trunk anyway so I don't miss it at all, and once I was able to stop the leaks and fix all the noises I don't have any problems. Cept some blind spots. I'll update the 1st page with fixes to common problems next time I can take the top off and snap some pics.

wer can u buy those push pins??
Honestly I don't know. I assume you have this top otherwise you wouldn't be asking, but yours didn't come with them??

I'm in the market for a hardtop just not sure if I want OEM, Mugen, or Spoon.

I do have it on... But it's not set up wer it's easy to take the 2nd piece off.. It's got a bolt on the inside and a nut on the outside... Its pretty stiff... It's jus that it's really hard take it off... Do u know anyone that made the 2nd piece and the trunk functional?

Has anyone tried OEM hardtop seals around the windows? I'm almost 99% positive it would work and make a much nicer seal than those generic weather stripping pieces I have on my authentic spoon top....

I've looked into this and what I found is that the oem hardtop weatherstripping is molded to it with adhesive so it will seal correctly. With my particular top I need something that is not held on by an adhesive.

Example:

No this hasn't been accomplished yet, its just wishful thinking. would you take a picture of how your rear section secures?
