I agree about the hatchback thing... I love this top if you take off the back part

What were the total weight savings with the soft top/interior parts removal?? Considering doing the same myself.

i'd say 65-75 lbs, the difference is definatly noticable.

everything is gone, the only thing i kept was the console and the secret compartment.check out the pics on the first page. need a place to keep my crap

This top gets soooo many looks!! I stopped a local car hangout and within 5 minutes like more than half the parking lot was standing around my car!!

Its really not that bad, i did it by myself in about an hour and a half and i have the service manual, but it actually wasn't much help. 2 people should be able to knock this out in an hour. This is basically how the service manual works...

Softtop removal:
Step 1: remove softtop.


its no help at all. I can make a write up if you want some help.
