Default Steering wheel hub install question

Hi, first off, I have a Momo 4930 hub that I'm trying to install onto my AP1. Which should fit easily, but I'm having some difficulties with the install.

As you can see in the first picture of the factory reel assembly, with the arrow pointing top, the wiring ends up being on the bottom.

However, in the next picture of the Momo hub itself, you can see with the triangle pointing top, the hole for the wiring to go through ends up being on the top left, which does not line with the reel if both of them have to be pointing up.

Am I missing something here?

Also pretty sure my reel is off centre now, what's the process to recentre it?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

That hub isn't compatible with the clockspring. You either have to remove it or get a hub that incorporates the clockspring like the one pictured.

Looked at the part number engraved on the hub itself and can confirm it is indeed the correct part, 4930.

Really? I've read a few posts where people said they had no problems installing this hub while keeping the clock spring still intact, weird.

Guess I may have to send the merchant an email. In the meantime, if anyone has experience with this particular hub, please let me know, thanks again for the responses guys!
