I may have ri give that a shot

You must have an ap1. I don't have that hum/whine but a friend of mine has an ap1 and his car does do that.

What if you cut a 3" hole on the left hand side of the intake box next to the horn and run a hose into the passenger side headlight cut out. Would this help with heat soak or make it louder or maybe more hp? i have a black 3" in diameter hose made of plastic but not sure if i want to cut a 3" hole on the intake. Has anyone tried this?

Why not just get CT Engineering box? Looks great, about the same price, and same noise!

I cut the resonator box off the stock intake for a few reasons one to match the exhaust noise a bit better and to give me some room to mount the catch can I baffled

this thing is a lot louder now to the point its kinda annoying lol at 3k cruising on the highway there is a lot of growl and howl at part throttle.

I plan on cutting a 3" hole in the pass side of the box and running it down to the front bumper opening. Along with the AUT plate I think it will work as well as ANY aftermarket intake

Ashton, if u open the top cover of the intake case. u can see that the original filter is just slid into the elbow, the new filter goes on the same way. very simple

Speedjunky, once you cut the hole and run the hose. Can you let me know how it sounds and if it helps with heat?
