Stock shocks specs ap1 to ap2
they have totally different spring rate so most would assume they have different damper valving as well
that's why it's bad for stock ap2 to run most aftermarket spring, since almost all of them are designed for the rear spring rate biased ap1(early ap1)

Yeah I have a ap2 with tein s-techs now. Looks like I may have a blown shock on the drivers front side but I noticed this before the install. I have a full set of ap1 shocks hanging out in my storage but like you I'm assuming that they are different
^To my knowledge, you can order Swift springs in a custom offset, but none are going to be made soft like AP2 springs. The rule of thumb is that the lower you go, the stiffer the springs must be so you don't bottom out.
