Stolen Side Markers

So, when I woke up this morning I went out to my car and saw a big hole in my front fender and saw the side marker missing, the clip was broken already so I assumed it fell off. But no, I went to the other side and saw the other one missing ad knew I had been vandalized. And the idiots cut the wires as well.. -_- Also, my front left turn signal doesn't work now and the rear is blinking really fast.
I was about to order the theft repair kit from Hardtopguy but I'm a little hesitant to do the install myself as wiring isn't my strong suit. Any tips for a fix like this? I know I'm going to have to connect the cut wires to the new wires from HTG, but I'm not sure what the best way is to go about it. Thanks in advance fellas.

If you have enough slack in what's left of the wire, you'll want to use solder and heatshrink. If there's not enough slack to give you room to maneuver a soldering iron/gun, then you can crimp them with butt connectors.

If they were your original side markers that good thing is they won't be very useable, they almost always break upon removal so the idiots won't be able to do much with them. I hope they die a slow painful death.
Wiring repair is easy, crimping with butt connectors should be good, if you can put a heat-shrink tube on them that would be extra protection against moisture. Heatshrink is real easy to use.

Yeah they were the oem ones so they probably both broke lol. One was barely held in. And I do believe there is enough left in the wire to fish it out and try to solder the new wires. Soldering seems the way to go to avoid doing this twice.
