Lot of work to go from 2.2 to 2.4L though.

Yeah, it is a lot of work to bring it up to a 2.4. It's just taht there are a lot of turbos out their and I think it is cool when people stroke there motors and be different.

But on inlinePRO's webstie, they have two different stroker kits. The regular ones which are smaller displacement, and racing applications which are larger displacements. Why are they called "racing applications"? Are they not street legal or something?

they are more likely to go boom...

you shouldn't trust a racing kit for daily use...

Oh I see. Is it dangerouus to go over 2.4? Or what is the basic "limit" for a daily driver?

And I read the whole thread where three guys who had 2.5s on their cars and they seem really good. I know their kits from inlinePRO cost around 4k themselves, but what other things are required to get the kits to perform at their best (ECU, drivetrain mods, valvetrain mods, etc.)?

If you have time, and money you can do this.

I went through a lot of time and some money just to get 2.2 stroker, TODA with CP pistons to work. I stared this back in 05. Took till Jan of 08 to get it to run right.

You really want a machine shop you can trust. Had one almost destroy the whole motor.

It is a lot of fun to drive and enjoy, with the TODA 2.2 at 90.7 duration I still have a daily. Now that I let my wife drive the car she is not too ticked off about all the work that was done.

I know it is tempting, but I wonder how much the GRAND TOTAL would cost after other necessary parts you need.

Wow, it took THAT long? That is crazyyyy, glad everything worked out. I see you live in Georgia, so do I. What shop did you take it to that ended up getting the job done?
