I know the strut bar I have fits over the FIPK, as a member on this board has the same one installed on his FIPK. I will install my Injen intake later this week and see the fitment of my strut bar.

I just ordered one from eBay. I plan on getting the K&N FIPK in the future. If this one rubs, no big deal, it was only $36

ASM or S2X. they are 4 point and solid (no hinge points on main bar unlike the cusco shown above).

I have a spoon one, it's actually VERY functional. It gives me something to hold and lean forward onto when I'm working in the engine bay

I suggest not bothering with the STB unless you only want it for the "bling."

It works for Macpherson STRUT cars (hence strut tower bar) since there is lateral load on the strut tower due to the suspension design. Since we have a double wishbone design, there is no lateral load which means no flex from suspension.

It does make for a great place to put your hands when working under the hood, I've heard.
sometime people will not listen when they are asking for advise

the fastest s2k in japan doesn't need one, funny people said they can feel it on the street

But what factors are involved here? The "fastest S2K" in Japan.... at what? what OTHER chassis bracing does it have. what is the driver -driving - style... When a overwhelming amount of people notice it, and when i go to the track and see people with them, there has to be some reason to believe they work. After all chassis stiffening is chassis stiffening... the rest should be tuned through the suspension.

I hardly see how the ebay ones work, they are flexible, and have JOINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I should know I just to sell them... But a triangular brace and under bracing might be kinda nice. May not be the best for stock suspension but it MUST have some affect positive or negative.

In fact, I am going to be ordering some material next week to test a couple of ideas I have... I am not an engineer, but I can try....
