the asm s2000 is heavily braced. look at the strut tower area. there is bracing coming from the firewall, and also bracing around the strut tower area. eventually there will will be metal fatigue over time and there will be flexing. this was mentioned from the same thread you are quoting this from. ASM's owner does have the 4 point bar on his personal car, why would he bother if it had no "purpose"

grab the ebay one, and go Autox it and see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't it's bling, which really isn't bad bling and you wouldn't have wasted a lot of money.

I would say if you want to spend money on something that works look at underbracing, springs, better tires... those are all very effective mods and cost about the same.

If you're looking for performance, spend it elsewhere. If you're looking for somewhere to lean, get the ebay one. If you're looking for engine bling, get the ASM.

Yes it should a buddy of mine on here has one on his K&N FIPK, and I am about to install my Injen once I get these metal shizz's of my foot. But I don't see how it wouldn't clear it.

Hello everyone
New member here with a 2008 S2k with an Injen CAI and I have always wondered what STBs out there would clear my intake. Hey Snowmoto, have you installed your Injen yet? I'm curious how it turned out.

I'm really interested in the ARC Titanium STB, just to match my ARC cooling plate. I realize it's expensive and yes I know it's mainly for bling. Anyone know if the ARC will clear an Injen CAI?

i have a comptech STB.... don't see no difference in ride, one solid bar, it clears most intakes cause it has a i guess dent where the intake goes. they go for 300 to 350.... not worth the money but it looks nice thats my 2 cents

The ebay one is sitting in my room 1000 miles away. I'll slap an Eibach or Cusco sticker on it and call it a day
