I was planning on modding my car with wide fenders and rear flares to get wider offset wheels but my dad, whose owned his own dealership for countless years and reads up on many jap car magazines, explained to me that making the car into a widebody setup and adding larger offsets cause increased strain on the suspension setup...

true/not true?? just wondering
