Are there any camber problems w/ the espelirs? I am hesitating to buy because of such a low drop. Anyone have fast tire wear w/ these springs?

no camber problems.

install them, get it aligned.

i just got mine aligned a few days ago after letting the springs settle for about a week. I used the UK alignment specs , which have about -2* camber in the back.

There will be minimal increased tire wear with this camber setting, but only if you drive in a straight line only. If you take the car around turns, you will be fine. The reason for the slightly negative camber is that in a turn the inside tire will actually be closer to perpendicular to the road, which is a bigger contact patch. i know its minimal but between springs and alignment, its a big improvement.

A few of the others who got theirs installed at my house and aligned have mentioned rubbing. I have the stock 16" ap1 wheels on RE-01Rs and havent rubbed, but its just something to keep in mind.

Thanks, great tech info.

One more question, is there only one type of model spring for our cars? I see some sites say from MY01-04, others say 02 and up. Are they all the same or will they make any difference?

if you are looking at the espelir spring, there is only one. not 100% sure about others but im pretty confident that they will fit on all years.

side note: CR springs might be different (stiffer?) but aftermarket ones will suffice.

I'm also considering the two but I have a mugen splitter on my ap2 that allready hangs pretty low. Any manage to fit the mugen spliter under some espiler without bottoming it out everywhere?

You shouldn't rub on stock tires unless hitting extreme bumps/ dips. I'm on 255's in the rear with 15mm spacers and only rub if traveling above 80+mph when hitting large dips on the highway.
