You shouldn't rub on stock tires unless hitting extreme bumps/ dips. I'm on 255's in the rear with 15mm spacers and only rub if traveling above 80+mph when hitting large dips on the highway.
im not runnin stock tires, they are about an inch bigger in total diameter. i was also thinking about puttin some spacers on. i might have to either go back down to oem tire sizes or go with the 225/45/17 front, and 255/40/17 rear to get the sidewall thinned down..

what kind of spacers are you running? any pics from the side?

i your stance so I think im gonna have to go with espilirs+15mm spacers front and rear. might have to wait till i can find someone whod swap oem size rear tires for 245/45 re01r's or till i buy a set of new ones.

Yes, you will be fine. 255's on AP2 wheels are what I ran for ~30K miles with absolutely no rubbing EVER. They do drop the car quite low, however so even after an alignment, you cannot get them back to OEM specs. Also take care in getting aftermarket wheels. Lower offset will rub. I just had my fenders rolled today.

I personally love a low car, especially the S2K. I did however decide to go with the S-techs for my springs and I am happy I did, especially since I have the front OEM lip. So far I have managed to scrape my lip 3 times. All on places where I totally did not think I would scrape at all. Any lower and I would not be able to get around.

I daily drive my car EVERYWHERE and haven't scraped my lip once (being lowered on Espelirs). Are you sure you aren't scraping those little black plastic pieces in front of the tires? Those are the ones that usually touch the ground first. If you're low enough to actually hit the lip, and actually keep moving forward, chances are you might do quite a bit of damage.

What are the specs on the wheels? Do you rub at all. I am thinking of running the Tein S Tech springs with my 42offset Works.
