with my exhaust it had this little buzz when vtec hit with a non resonated test pipe , it sounded good other wise , i just didnt like the little buzz so i got a resonated one...no more buzz

I guess calling it a high flow cat in my previous post was incorrect anyway, how does the resonated testpipe sound compared to the non-resonated testpipe.

JmanS2k, Megan resonated testpipes are available in ebay, but they're run for about $90+. I purchased my on ebay for $65 including shipping. There are resonated testpipes on ebay for $42.99 and $36.99 without shipping. I think shipping was $19.99.

oh ok, you're talking about high flow catalytic converters vs test pipes (straight pipes). the difference in power is negligible, about 1 hp. a high flow cat is going to cost more and smell better, where as a test pipe will flow better, cost less, and smell worse. either way you really cant go wrong. i'm still debating which one to buy actually. good luck with your choice.

btw - you'll want to search CEL's and fixes.
I am running the resonated test pipe and I couldn't tell you if its worse performing or not. I highly doubt it, as the chamber is so small, It probably removes a desable or two is all.

The best CELL fix is the threaded extended bung adapter VS a wired fix. The wired or "chip" fix suck and usually are more expesive. I tried both and the extended bung is the only way to go. wish I would have found the bung in the first place. Its reliable, cheeper and way easier to install. I found mine on Ebay a few years ago. Its been working like a charm ever since. I got my resonated test pipe there as well.

LOL, everyone ignores my question.

How does it sound compared to the OEM cat or test pipe? I couldn't careless about the performance, the sound is more important to me.

if youre running a dual exhaust both a straight and a resonated test pipe will sound pretty much the same. i think it's supposed to be a more pronounced difference with a single. the resonated TP is supposed to be more refined sounding.

you can hear the intake over take the exhaust .... and the clutch slip

with the non resonated test pipe i was only slightly louder but it had a little buzz after vtec , the greddy exhasut isnt loud to begin with so results may very
