Not meaning to highjack this thread, but can you put a test pipe on a stock exhaust and get any gains ?

i felt a little bit better response (or at least i thought so, i might've been placebo). you'll also notice a slight difference in sound. it sound a bit more ricey. but if you just think about it, it doesn't make sense to free up a pipe in the middle and leave the restrictive stock mufflers that block the flow after it.

i had my test pipe installed, the only mod so far i have for my car and i dont feel much difference wit the power and it definetly sounds the same IMO. only diff is that the exhaust smells bad
