seems like some people have some luck with the anti fouler trick, however some have stacked 4 foulers and still gotten a CEL. Here is the thread

I have a Test pipe question : )

My testpipe was fabricated using the flanges from my stock cat.
However the pipe has 2 angles from the flange out to my exhaust and my friend says that those bends are hurtin me and I should get a regular test pipe like the ones they sell here online ?

Does it matter that much?

Let's read ALL of the posts.

It may "work" for some, but it's the few who get the pain in the ass that ruins it for "the fix works" crowd

almost any performance mod would hinder your mpg, but a test pipe may not really be that noticeable. What other mods do you have? tuned? IF maybe you got it tuned to ensure that you have a good A/F, you may even get better gas mileage.
If your driving patterns are the same, you would see an increase in gas mileage.

Will not void your warranty, only the warranty on your catalytic converter & the secondary O2 sensor.

MPG's increased here just slightly.

Less restriction on the engine FTW.

yep, think of it like removing the cork. Its more breathing for your engine= milage. lean out your AFR's and now your geting even more power and better milage.
