i have the invidia pipe hooked up to a hks dual highfloe exhaust and it sounds and runs perfect yes my check engine light came on but i ignore it all it does is throw a code that says ur running too rich but ur car wont try to fix the problem and run shitty it will just let u kno its rich so no big deal if u got the money u can always go to a tuner

 

i have the invidia 70mm tp and love it. it has a built-in cel fix but it does not work along. i got a cel after only 40 miles. so i added the external fix along with the steel wool trick and I have not had any problems since and that was about 9mos ago and over 8k miles. the fix is basically an adaptor for the secondary 02 sensor. some folks make their own from two spark plug defoulers that can be purchased from any auto parts store. or you can buy a "one-piece" unit like i did for less than $15 including shipping.


search xbay for "s2000 cel fix" and you will see the product that I purchased for <$15. another popular brand is blox.

 

i just puchased this cel fix off ebay hope it works! looks like all it is, is a spacer.......wonder if i could pass emissions in NC with it since they dont look under the car........if anyones tried let me know! if i try i will be sure to let you kno

 

alright. yeap just a spacer - hard to believe that's all it takes to trick the ecu... don't know anything about emissions - folks don't test for it here in the deep woods of SC. we're just happy to see license plates...

 

i dont know how they check the emission, b/c here in arkansas they dont check it, but if they check the black smoke and the really bad smell then it will fail.
