titanium knob question.

That looks real good man. I completely gave up on trying to get something like that out of my Ti knob and settled for the all polish look.
Looks like it's time to get back at it again.

I added a nice blue tint to my oem Ti knob by using some 9 volt batteries, coke, and a paper towel.

I think it even looks better than many aftermarket knobs..

I tired this on my Alex knob it didn't turn blue it went gold or something WTF should I polish it out and try again?

gold is the first color. apply more heat, then itll slowly turn reddish purple. keep adding and itll get a darker purple and then a blue color. did you use mapp gas? propane doesnt get hot enough.

ill try and get some close up pictures soon. might need to reburn it also. it fell over during the first torching process, and has nicks in the side where it fell on the concrete.
