I'm about to put a berk highflow on mine. I've watched too many YouTube vids of too loud and raspy exhausts because of test pipes that I decided against it.

I vote HFC. If you go with a TP just don't make a habit of putting your face behind the exhaust, or it'll smell lol

I had a test pipe with a stock exhaust. Initially there was a bit of smell if i started it up in an enclosed space.
There was no rasp at all. Also, it hardly changed the exhaust note at all - if anything, just a slightly deeper sound at low revs.
Then i put on a HKS cat back - still no rasp, and i can't even smell the fumes in enclosed spaces any more.

Sorry no - the butt dyno suggests good gains at lower revs, less so at higher revs (harder to tell). Not sure if it would add peak hp, but maybe a little. It's definitely one of the few 'noticeable' upgrades

test pipe is fraction of the cost and more power. smell isn't noticeable to me. raspyness went away after 250 miles of driving. sounds amazing now with the stock exhaust.

My HFC worked perfectly for 3 years on my '06 then threw a CEL. I installed double anti-foulers and had been CEL free for 2 months. Yesterday, I got another CEL and reset the ECU. I'm going to drive until I get another CEL then probably re-install the stock CAT. I had to replace the battery yesterday and hoping that had something to do with it. I doubt it though.
